its a matter of how you are raised I supposed.  Core beliefs.  Some people were not raised to believe monogamy is necessary.  And I think most of the married people on this board can agree that after 10 or so years of marriage the sex may get old.  Maybe you want to fuck someone else.  And maybe they see it that if the man or woman they love wants pleasure, they should let them have it.  After all would you really love the person if you denied them pleasure?  They can still love each other, be happy for each other.  After all sex is just a physical act.  Intimacy on a level of a man and a woman being committed with their lives for many years is probably much stronger than an orgasm.  And since in their core beliefs they see nothing wrong with promiscuity, fuck it right.  They will still wake up next to each other, cry on each others shoulders, raise children together, and grow old together.

Now is that the kind of relationship I want or believe in?  Hell no.  but im just trying to think from the other point of view.  You can see how that might work?
