So I dont know if you have already been talking about this or not.  But whats this I'm hearing that NIN and Rage might be doing a tour together soon?

devilinside

Umm...I have no idea! Lemme do some research and I'll get back on that! That would be pretty awesome though. I do remember Trent watched Rage at Lolla...and I have a pic of it still.

And they DO share the same political views....I wouldn't doubt it.

Variable

I doubt that Trent is really down with Zack's "down with whitey" views.  But I know what you meant ;)

The DJ on " Octane " XM 48 said that they were going on tour. Thats where I heard it from.

devilinside

I couldnt find anything on NIN.com about it,but I did a google and found this:

http://www.metalunderground.com/news/details.cfm?newsid=40958

But I think imma spand my money on the Depeche Mode tour. I saw NIN and Rage last year.

Variable

They toured last year!?!?! WTF where have I been?

I really hope it happen again and I can actually go.  I would love that show.  I don't know why but I have been on a big NIN and Zack De La Rocha trip lately

Thanks for the info.  How are you doing btw.  Its been a min since we talked

devilinside

I saw them at Lolla...I think that's the only show they performed....besides Coachella?  (don't quote me on that)  Rage was VERY good tho...I have a video I took of them....I never in my life thought I;d get to see them...or Radiohead for that matter.

And here's a little NINage I got at one of the three times I saw them last year. I moved seats 3 times at that show...it was pretty fun.

I've been ok,busy as shit cause of the holidays, but ok. I got all my "diet" foods today. Tuna, fresh salmon, low carb yogurt, about 20 gallons of smart water and earl grey tea (for caffeine...I'll get a killer headache if I dont have any in my system)....all that fab stuff. I'm doin low carb, not no carb, cause I know if I choose to do no carb,I'll fail. So I figure if I limit carbs,I'll have a better chance of succeeding. I'm starting the walking and yoga back again. I really love yoga, and you burn quite a bit of calories doing it,and strengthen and tone your body.

Oh,and I got 2 things in the mail today that made me pretty happy.....

My HUGE Edward blanket <3

And my Cullen shirt <3

If I may be my usual self and add my 2 cents where its probably not welcome.  Tuna and Salmon is great.  Especially if you can get the Alaskan fresh water salmon, they don't have all the toxins of the ocean.  But low carb yogurt, usually not the best.  They get you roped in with the " low carb " so you think you're eating healthy.  But they usually up the fat and sugar to make up for it in taste.

You are right to try and cut carbs.  But you also have to cut sugars.  Complex sugars too like white bread, white rice, pasta, ect ect.  One of the hands down best things I have found to eat or drink as a snack replacement is the EAS myoplex CARB CONTROL shakes.  If they are not the carb control they are loaded with sugar.  I will drink 3 a day.  and eat 3 small meals a day.  It worked great for me.

Portions are pretty much everything too.  Just get your stomach used to eating small meals.  It will eventually shrink and you wont be hungry anymore.  It will suck for about 2 weeks, you will feel hungry all the time.  But then its great because you will like never be hungry.

Save your money on the smart water though.  Its a total gimmick and not worth a penny more than tap water.  If you must have bottled water , save your money and go for the cheaper shit.  Same with vitamin water.  Gatorade is a bad choice too because its so sugary.  Plus you get more than enough electrolytes from your diet every day.

and I feel you on the Caffeine.  But caffeine is not bad for you.  Just the sugar that usually accompanies it.  Black coffee is one of the most healthy sources of caffeine out there.  I'm not a tea guy at all so I can't tell you shit there.  But I have read that the large majority of those "healthy" teas are just gimmicks and they are loaded with sugars and all kinds of nastiness.  Pretty much, if it taste good, don't drink it.

Yoga is great though.  That should do the trick.  Just set some cardio goals with your walking.  Keep a log, and track your progress.  Maybe even think about hitting up a bike and the pool just to shock your body a bit and mix it up.

Keep it up k.  don't be a lame ass that does this for a couple months then quits.  The key is to make it a lifestyle and not a chore.  Its easier than you would think.

I'm pretty good with  watching the sugar content. (being as most of my family is diabetic and I live with someone who is VERY health conscious) This only has 2 grams of sugar, which is really good. But it's also not a daily thing,as I'll only eat it maybe once a week. (yogurt is good for us women ya know)

Oh...I'm not eating any breads,pastas....nothing like that. :( It SUCKS,but I know it's for the best. Fucking potatoes. And I HATE the EAS drinks! I buy 3 of the 4 packs a week (not for me),and they are fucking EXPENSIVE! Like $12 a 4 pack. But luckily they come with a $4 off 2 on the inside of the box. I do eat protein bars as meal replacements though. Not Power Bars,I can't remember the brand right this second. They taste like cardboard, but fill me up.

I flippin LOVE smart water! It taste nothing like tap to me (tap gags me..it's over chlorinated) and I drink my water room temp,so I can get it down faster. I do have some of the walmart brand water too,but after this summer,I'm addicted to smart water.

Yeah...I'm goin without sugar in my tea. I have splenda, but I kinda wanna keep away from that. Tea is a southern thing I think.

I'll try not to be a lame ass...haha I'm changing how the kids eat too,so it should be easier. My son isn't happy about it,but my dauther is fine with it,cause she LIKES to eat good! lol
