Oh, man, 20 hours in the arms of the girl i love. Amazing...

Okay, back to work. I'll see if i can get the site ready today, if not, we'll just open it tomorrow.

@ Terry
Is the Analog review done? If not, then it doesn't matter, just sent it to me tomorrow or something. :D

Anyone heard the german hardcore band: Destiny?

I just got their new album The Tracy Chapter, it's really cool. Not as good as their debute: Diving Into Eternity.

Old school hardcore. There's a review for: The Tracy Chapter here:

Thats basically what Ive been saying to myself.  My parents weren't going to let me go but an hour long argument convinced them.  I dont know what I'd do if I missed it.  Ive been listening to That within......... loads recently, thinking about hearing the songs live.  It will be a good night, but a sad night aswell.  Have you seen them live before?

haha that's cool your parents gave in and decided to let you go. i'd kick my own ass if i had the chance to go and didn't go.

that withing blood ill-tempered is their best album to date. even for it being their newest release. so much passion.

and yes, i have seen them live. many a time actually, and they never once dissapointed me.

Im buying Hearts once....... some time next week, Ive heard a few songs on it and they were great.  I cant wait to see them, I think Geerts doing vocals, but theyre getting some of the older members on the tour aswell.

there have been like three shai hulud last shows ever in NY this probably won't be the last

BigDave

Theyre playing around 30 dates in Europe, so I wouldnt be too sure about that.

it will probably be the last time they play in europe but it wouldn't suprise me if there are a couple of reunion shows locally over the next couple of years

BigDave

Yea thats what I meant, its a shame

Hey, Guys.

I'm gonna put down the "deathblow.tk Hardcore site" for awhile. I just got a ton of shit i have to do. So i won't have time to manage it.

- I'll still get interviews (you can ask for interviews aswell) and shit, and post 'em here in this post, i'll just edit my first post and use that as an index. :D

Sorry guys. I'll try to figure out a way to get the deathblow board running.

And i'm gonna post the three interviews in the first post.

Thanks for all your help!

onlythclouds

saw thrice/ptw last night, fucking great show

Paint Your Lips

Sounds sweet, man. From what i've heard/seen, ptw is really good live!

I have yet to check out Thrice, any recommendations?

onlythclouds

check out these songs:

under a killing moon
silhouette
paper tigers
the melting point of wax
deadbolt
trust
to awake and avenge the dead
where idols once stood
see you in the shallows
phoenix ignition

ben

died20times

So i guess you look more handsome now? :D

Has anyone here ever had a Poison The Well addiction? Cuz i think i'm having one, and i don't wanna go cold turkey!

I love Poison the Well but don't think they are great live. The sound is good, not going to argue that, but the performance is..ehhh. the singer mostly had his back to the audience. Although, the guitarists were great.

I know they have been mentioned before, but The number 12 Looks Like You is great.
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

yeah yeah.

I think the sound is what's important. If you want a "show" go see Slipknot or Britney Spears, man.

And when you're at a hardcore show, all that matters is the moshing!! :D

died20times

when i saw them recently, jeff's stage presence was was unlike anything i've ever seen him do before. he jumped when a breakdown hit, shoved the mic in people's faces for a chance to scream their lungs out, etc. stuff i have never seen him do before out of the many times i have seen them. definately their most energetic set (that i've witnessed). usually i'm dead center moshing it up, but i decided to stay up front for ptw's set so i could record it on my digi cam.  :D

Well, what I mean by "show" is also crowd interaction and shit. Like Blood Brothers and These Arms Are Snakes.

@ Terry
Sweet, man! If you wanna share your footage, please say so.

@ Jerry
Arh, thought you meant pure stage show. You know, lighting and movement and shit.

Terror are, from what i heard on their live EP, really cool live, also preaches a lot and shit, it's cool. Another great live band is def. Norma Jean.
