Hey, man. I downloaded 6 live songs with Terror, they were fucking awesome!! - That was some great shit!

I allways figured bands like Beloved and Dead poetic were Emocore! :?:

kisseveryscar

yeah terror is amazing

yeah dead poetic and beloved are more into the "emocore" genre
or whatever you wanna call it

just because Beloved has some brakedowns in some of their songs it doesnt make them hardcore.they should just stick singing the whole time

I like the blend, man. The singing mixed with the screaming, that's just awesome. Though, at times, i prefer to either only hear singing or only screaming.

i totally agree, now what's emo?  cuz i don't get all emo from listenin to 36 crazyfists or beloved

singing's good and it takes quite a bit more talent, both those bands have really good singers

a lot of the metal, hardcore, and metalcore bands out today just have the emo influence. even deftones have emo influence in them. emo isn't really heavy.

as for beloved, i always classified them as metalcore. just really melodic metalcore with lots of emo influence.

kisseveryscar

alvarezbassist17

so you're basically sayin emo is something with singing?

died20times

no thats not what i'm saying. theres a couple of emo bands with screaming. just cause a hardcore or metalcore band has some singing it doesn't make them an emo band. carrys a few emo influences but nothing more.

alvarezbassist17

mmkay i think it works better to classify everything differently, like heavy music (then describing how heavy), soft music (then describing how soft), and shitty music (not mattering how heavy or soft)
