thats the reason i love this board so much, and why ive stayed so long, everyone has such diverse tastes in music, but since we are all so passionate about the music we love it opens teh flood gates for everyone else

well "hardcore" nowadays is huge
back in the 90s kids in high school would be wearing Korn shirts, Limp Bikzit .ect,..now you see Poison the Well shirts, Atreyu shirts
i wonder what it will be like in 5 years from now
straight edge has always been a part of the hxc scene..BUT you dont have to be straight edge to be a PART of this scene..im not Edge but im still a part of the family..its about unity and respect
the whole fashion things is really something that will die within the next 2 years for sure. some kids like to dress up and look good.its just a trend and all trends die.
i just dont agree when some of metalcore bands take this whole fashion issue way too serious. but oh well

Manchester has a decent hardcore scene, we have quite a few good bands, Beecher is one of the most popular to come out of Manchester. The fashion over here is really mixed, I mean, I have dreads I wear dickies jeans, carhartt jeans, a mixture of baggy and not so baggy, I see guys at hardcore gigs with really gay hairstyles and some wear really tight shirts / pants and just basically look very female lol.

No rush, mate. It would just be cool to make a small article about Hardcore. Maybe you and david (died20times) could gang up or something.

most of my knowledge on hardcore, is what is going on today in the genre. as far as roots and where it came from etc. that's probably more around david's alley.

go ahead and sign me up as an album reviewer though, that's a job i am willing to take. maybe add a comments section to go with the reviews just so that the people that don't agree with my review could comment on it, or something. just a thought if you decide to give me that particular job.

oh and btw marty, call me terry. that's what i always go by.
