i went through hxcmp3 yesterday and checked out a bunch of bands:

-Assisted Suicide Assembly
-Across Five Aprils
-They Came Burning
-From a Second Story Window
-Evergreen Terrace
-Through the Eyes of the Dead
-August Burns Red
-Silence After Tragedy
-One Dead Three Wounded
-Circle Takes the Square

i like Assisted Suicide Assembly, Across Five Aprils and Evergreen Terrace a lot, the other bands were good, but i didn't like Circle Takes the Square at all, reminded me too much of Cradle of Filth.

I checked out: From a Second Story Window today, and they were really cool. Great shit.

Okay:

Across Five Aprils.
- I have their album: a tragedy in progress, and two of their EP's. GOOD SHIT!!!

Wings Of Scarlet.
- I have their: Before The Great Collapse EP. Really fucking awesome stuff!!

The Chariot.
- I've only heard their two tracks from Hxcmp3.com.
The track: Give it a name call it a franchise isn't really good.

And the song: Some Things Just Never Burn/Some Giants Just Never Fall is cool. I just hope that they get some proper recording done. Cuz the songs are really "rough" and doesn't have a good quallity.

You really need to check out: Son Of The Mourning - If you haven't already. There's a really great song on Hxcmp3.com with em.

No problem. I bought an mp3 Player to avoid burned cd's. And i earn a decent living right now, i just ordered 12 hardcore cd's about 4 days ago. And in about three weeks or so, it's my birthday, yay!! Lots of money!

Estalline are really good!! I really like it.

just thought i'd help descirbe a few of the bands you listed that you wanted to check out.

with honor - new school straight up hardcore. the straight up hardcore sound with a very tiny metal influence underlining it. hardly any breakdowns, and rather than screamy vocals, it's more of a "yelling" vocal delivery. gang chants and sing a longs. plenty of mosh but it's not a metalcore album. it's good so i would suggest checking it out anyway.

the red chord - one word to describe this band. brutal. although the music will throw out a few tinges of melody, there is absolutely no singing what so ever. most of the vocals are done in death metal fashion. extremely heavy band.

caliban - german metalcore. nice and heavy with the clean vocals coming in every couple of songs. vocals can get rather annoying after a while but still a decent band. i only hace one of their albums, "shadows hearts" and it's pretty good.

converge - just listen to them dude :wink:


i'm halfway through the new hast the day album. besides the obvious zao "riff offs", this is a damn good album. good breakdowns that aren't overdone. sick vocals. extremely catchy in some areas. i'm really enjoying it.
