have any of you guys listened to Black Dahlia Murder's hardcore side project Let It Die? i just got their album Stick To Your Guns. it's pretty brutal and pretty different from Black Dahlia.

The Cardinal Effect - this isn't really hardcore but i didn't want to make a thread about them. they sound a lot like 36 Crazyfists and newer Hopesfall i think so i figured some people here would like them. they sound pretty good and i found the album to be an enjoyable listen. check out their song Cottonstar here. right click, save target as.

Hey guys, Converge played awesome in Amsterdam, but they couldn't play a lot of songs because all of their gear was lost or stolen during the travelling the night before, which was a shame. The noteable songs they didn't play were Homewrecker, You Fail Me, Locust Reign, When Forever Comes Crashing, The Saddest Day.

They did play a lot from the new album, and it sounded really cool, I just hope the manage to get their stuff back before they come to Manchester in a couple of weeks.

Modern Life is War played ok'ish...I could hardly hear the vocals though. The first band were called "The Setup" we didn't get to see them, so I dunno what they were like, I'm guessing they were a local band.

Im seeing those boys in a couple of weeks, should be pretty legendary, its my first time seeing them.

Ive just listened to "Already Dead" on PAHardcore.com, it is very different to Black Dahlia, I like it though.

i just saw The Red Death with fassw, into the moat, and nodes of ranvier. they were absolutely sick. i chilled with the singer and their merch guy during node's set. they are some pretty chill dudes. their new album is about to drop.

so, according to cave in's message board, they're on hiatus, i know they're not hard(metal)core anymore, but since when has this hiatus been goin on? and does anyone know anything about it, like if/when it will end?
