I just downloaded an album by a band named "I Killed The Prom Queen", in my opinion, they are nothing special. But fans of Poison the well / As I Lay Dying / Remembering Never,  should check them out.

I've never been in this topic before, I don't even exactly know the definition of hardcore, but i'm coming under the assumption that the band As I Lay Dying is considerred hardcore.

Anyways, I just downloaded the video for the song Forever off their album Frail Words collapse, and I absolutely LOVE this song. I've also heard 94 Hours off the cd, and it is a fairly decent song as well, doesnt quite do as much as Forever did for me. My question then, is if this cd is worth purchasing.... I rarely buy a cd with hearing only one song alone, but I love Forever so much I'm seriously considerring it. What do you guys think? Is the rest of the CD up to par with that song? What can I expect?

Nothing groundbreaking. They are okay and Forever is a very good song. You can expect good, solid metalcore. That's it. Go and get it.

Even though I didn't buy it, I would say it is worth the money.

Since finishing their last album, in addition to parting ways with vocalist Geert Van der Velde, Matt Fox and Matt Fletcher have been writing material for their next album. Although they've got a new name, according to the band, "the new music and lyrics are a continuation and progression that still finds Shai Hulud's message, style, and sound intact." Yes, Frail Words Collapse is definitely worth picking up. See them live too, they're really good, I've already seen them twice and I'm gonna see them again in a little over a week.
