Okay, i downloaded the new Converge AND the new Dillinger;

Both are really great albums, i did expect more from TDEP, but it's still rocking !

Converge just gets better and better, but i don't think they can ever top Jane Doe.

Yeah, I was listening to Jane Doe today and it's better than You Fail Me, but YFM is still a really good CD.

I thought the same thing, and it grows on me more and more everyday.  I don't think its better than Jane Doe, its just one of those things you can't really compare.  its different from most of their stuff.

New Converge is awesome, the title track "You Fail Me" is an amazing song, strangely enough, the first time I seen Converge live in 2002 they actually played that song! they also play it on the Long road Home DVD at the gig in Germany, I think it's the Germany gig anyway.

Now, I'm at the point where I can say I finally got into both, new DEP and Converge and I have to say that I like new DEP much better than Converge for the moment. It's unbelievable. Unretrofied came so unexpected. That song is damn beautiful. Every song differs so much from the other, just pure genious!

Don't get me wrong. You Fail Me is still better than 75% of Hardcore Releases today but they're some moments in it, that I'm a bit disappointed of. Guess it takes a bit more time to finally fall completely in love with it.

yeah i like both alot, but i have to go with "You Fail Me."  I'm not dissapointed at all with a single thing on there.


I think that when I'm eagerly waiting for any new cd to come out, i get an idea of what its going to be like, and when its not like what i imagined i dont like it.  but once i drop all of my expectations and listen to it for what it is, I usually find where its coming from and most of them time, really raelly like it.  I've done this with many many cds, including "You Fail Me."  All of my favorite albums I didn't like the first time I had ehard them

I like it far more than Converge's new album.

I'm blown away. You guys must check out Forever I Burn here. The vocals remind me of Converge with clean singing and the music is totally brutal and beautiful.
