when i saw converge this march they played 2 (or was it 3?) new songs and they all sounded great. i bet the new album's gonna kill. noticed they have two songs on the list with similiar names (in her shadow, in her blood) in the same way as on Jane Doe (phoenix in flight, pheonix in flames)? i love it when bands connect songs like that so i hope they've done something similiar this time around.

The Secret are good.  I got a Converge tshirt today, its at my mates right now because hes the one that bid for it, so hes going to bring it round tomorrow morning.  I didnt know what the design was going to be, the description just said 'Converge You Fail Me 2002 European Tour Shirt'.  My mate emailed a pic of the front, its a red design of some sort and theres some writing saying something like "with every breath you take you fail me" with the Converge logo beneath it.

I Tried Voodoo Once by fassw is number 9 on hxcmp3.com. Brings a tear to my eye.

As for comments on the new Atreyu stuff, from what I gather it's gonna suck, but I never liked them in the first place so I may be biased. I just don't think the screaming has much substance. It sounds too manufactured to me. Maybe that's a problem with the production though, I dunno.

 Orange County, California's BLEEDING THROUGH will be filming a video for "Love Lost In a Hail of Gunfire" next month with director Chris Sims (POISON THE WELL, EIGHTEEN VISIONS). "Love Lost In a Hail of Gunfire" is the first track from BLEEDING THROUGH's latest album, "This is Love, This is Murderous". The band are currently wrapping up a lengthy U.S. headlining tour and are preparing to spend the summer on Ozzfest and doing "off" dates with DIMMU BORGIR and LACUNA COIL. "This is LIVE, This is Murderous", a live DVD featuring eight camera angles, 5.1 surround sound and band commentary, will be released next month as part of Kung Fu Records' "The Show Must Go Off!!" live DVD series. The band played the main stage at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival and were interviewed for segments on Fuse's "Uranium" and MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball".
