hey quick question. I know its not the cool kid thing to do if you label a band. But I was trying to describe Isis to one of my roomates and im just really bad at the whole genera thing. So how is Isis best classified?

there is definately a huge tool influence in their music. tools bass player even appears on panopticon, and he played on a few shows with them.

for me isis is like "neurosis meets tool". crushing doom-metal meets melodic post-rock. and this combination is perfect.
