Hey bro, We've (finally) dragged Booger in to do some backup vokills for us 9for our next EP).
We'll also be in Auckland on the 28th to do some indie gig at St. james. We get a rider so come get wasted with us...for free (we'll have skunkies too)

booger is the shit. I've known him for years and years. We used to hang back in the days when they where comming up with ways to get the crowd more shocked...Can't remember who, but someone said "lets get naked and put tubing on our dicks"

I've had to carry Booger home many a nights. One night at hole in the wall (now valve) booger was hanging from the roof screaming and my drummer ran up and attempted to ram a stick up his arse and of cause booger wasn't too keen on that and he fall and smashed his tailbone - but he still managed to finish the show, drink shitloads and then passout, get taken to  the hospital and found out that he had a badly brocken tailbone.

I really miss those days. he hates Shihad though...

My band is knifeparty. But I've been in 1000s. Sketch, inhale, MaryStaple and heaps of other shit bands. I'm a bit of a regular of Rock factory in Aucks so, I'm always floating around

I've heard of MaryStaple but never caught you guys live.I saw an interview with Booger a while back and it seems he has straightened up a bit.He was in a country band or some such.

I'm from Wellington and to be honest I'm not a big fan of the Auckland night life but I also admit to being under exposed in that regard.Keen to check out your gig though.

We're playing Valve on the 11th May. i love valve (greg is my gay lover). I prefer playing in Wellington. the crowds are so much warmer. Aucklanders always want to be cool!!!! I hate crowd violence and Wellington crowds are always so mellow.

Have you heard Gomorrah? they opening for New Way home on the 15th.

They are death (which im not really into)...but their drummer is amazing. Also ben the guitarist works at Rock Shop in the Hutt, so I get free strings (yipee).

Its cool. Auckland has its benefits (Big Day Out)...meeting Danny from Tool after I got lost pissdrunk at 1am and me embarrassing myself by asking him millions of questions about his drums and then pretty much hitting on him (don't think americans get our humor) - I wasn't by the way. I just watched them and he blew me away and I kept going on about how stale the music scene was and that they where the only ones sticking to their guns blah blah blah blah.

And yes, the rock shop is pretty damn good. they always give ya the deals
