Haha yeah actually you're right, her date of birth is 19 December 1985 (I just checked). She just always seemed really immature... I find it hard to believe she's 21, and I'm still 19 (20 in two weeks though!).

It's a good quality you have there, but I guess I don't share it. For the record, that doesn't mean I think anyone who does not conform to specific criteria is ugly, I just reserve my use of the word 'beautiful' for those who I consider to be truly worthy, otherwise it devalues the meaning of the word. If someone who never called anyone beautiful said you were beautiful, it would be far more of a compliment than someone calling you beautiful who said that everyone was beautiful. And I guess it depends on how you define 'beautiful' anyway.

i know that every person has something beautiful in them and it's up to them to allow the beauty to come out. i get so much flak when i post someone in here because i don't have the mentality of other's when it comes to what is considered attractive and i've never looked on it as a bad thing. i post women who i feel haven't conformed to what beauty is supposed to be. i think women like ani difranco, pj harvey, chan marshall and meryl streep are beautiful because i always percieve them to be in conflict with their appearance yet proud of it because they don't adhere to what is put out there for us to consider beautiful. if you look at each of those women, they are so different [in appearance and personality] from each other. with women like pj and ani, i've often gotten into arguments with people about them because people think they're ugly but that is so far removed from the truth.

i missed getting bashed in here though hahaha i'm so glad i posted lady sovereign instead of who i was really going to post.

I like to make a distinction between men and womyn...woMEN are not a constituent of MEN...That is not to say that we are not all huMAN. Nor am I saying that one sex is superior or subordinate to another... But it I think it's nice that we celebrate the femininity of womyn, especially when it's been considered inferior for so long in history.
