I discovered Down few days ago. Long story short story, I met Phil Anselmo something like 1 or 2 months ago. I live near a nice concert venue, and he was out there signing shit for fans, after a show, and that's the first time I heard about Down. I finally decided to download some few days ago, and I'm only listening to that band for the past few days. And I'm liking more and more what I'm listening ! And I'm fucking pissed at the fact that I didn't go to that show 2 months ago !!!

Hey go to the metalcore/hardcore, etc thread as I recently posted an upload by a band called Eyehategod and some of the members of that band play in Down.It's pretty sludgecore vocal wise but the guitar work is awesome.
