Every human deals with some sort of loss in their life.  It could be in a relationship, or it could be a loved one dying.  Both can cause equal amounts of anguish, but, to be blunt, losing a relationship can be harder at times.  When someone dies, you don't have to be in their presence and feel the hurt, but when you lose a significant other, you feel pain every time you see them.  This pain is further magnified when there is little or no explanation for such a change of heart.  In the play Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, Hamlet experiences this with his supposed true love, Ophelia.  He is given no enlightenment by anyone; he is completely in the dark.  Hamlet and I share a similar experience.  At one point in my life, I lost the love of someone who I presumed to be the most important person I'd ever met.  The relationship ended suddenly, without warning or explanation.  The situation went from going fabulously, into a dismal wreck, with me in its wake.
