Yeah, Amnesiac is hard because I don't like every song. The other albums are flawless for the most part. Wasn't Amnesiac kind of a b-side type album anyways?

no

they were both recorded at the exact same point in time.. they didnt want to make it a double album because they said it would be a "project overload"

but thom describes kid a and amnesiac like this

Kid A is being out of the mountains and being able to look back at them

Amnesiac is something that you cant get out of. something that you cant get over. and it just keeps repeating and repeating in your brain until it drives you mad

i think the best way to describe the amnesiac album. is the video for the song. Knives Out

thats by far the best music video ive ever seen. and the imagery and meaning is just perfect. describes the exact way i feel about the album.

i really love the clips in the knives out video with thom and the woman on the train hitting eachother over the head with a hammer. it makes perfect sense to me



amazing that the knives out video was all filmed in one take


but if u want a deeper understanding of amnesiac.. keep watching knives out until it makes perfect sense

especially how thom describes the album as being a place you cant get out of in your head.. and in the knives out video thom is watching he and his love on video over and over

agreed that Amnesiac has to be listened to in one sitting...but i still put it up there in quality with their other material.
in my opinion almost every song is way above average, from the mellowness of "You and Whose Army" to thom's voice on "Like spinning Plates"
and Pyramid Song is one of my favorite radiohead songs of all time

yeah. all of amnesiac is a perfect album for me

at first it wasnt. but then for a while i ranked it as my favorite radiohead album

back in the day. i was tripping my balls off. and the 3rd song was playing. pull\pulk revolving doors.. and my brain was walking me down a path that was like rainbow road in mariokart64.. then when thoms voice says. and there are trapdoors. the rainbow roadway broke open and i began to freefall.


anyway. i really really love amnesiac

Amnesiac is great, but they should have put some of the b-sides on it (Worrywort, The Amazing Sounds of Orgy, Kinetic, etc.) that were better than some of the songs on the album.

The only record I dont like from them, albeit its still good in its own way is Pablo Honey.

also safe to say that radiohead really cant put anything out that is bad

Saw them at Roskilde Festival. It was amazing. The crowd went nuts when they played Karma Police. I seriously had a good time even though I was far away from the stage.

This band is so bad ass.
