just because, is that good enough? :P

I was at work the other day and I hear the beginning of My Iron Lung playing, but then rapers start talking and stuff. Yeah, they used that song as  sample throughout the whole song. It was kind of cool, but I really wanted to hear the original.
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

yeah yeah.

Daytona 500 - Ghostface (Panzah Zandahz Iron Lung Remix) is the name of that song. i actually like that whole remix album.

i was dead last night. seriously. then i put on Kid A and i realised i no longer hated them. i've hated them for a good one year. i realised that i didn't really hate them at all. i just felt too close to the music they created and it got scary. you know when you listen to every song on a record and you find the lyrics and the melody drilling itself into your bones. oh kay, that's a bad example but that is what it feels like when i listen to Radiohead. then after a certain space of time, your bones are close to breaking point and you have to put it away for a while and my while was a year. my bones are strong again and it felt good last night. i have to recollect because i've thrown away every record [except Kid A - it was in my dad's Turkish music collection. don't ask why] i owned plus some boots. i think everything i ever said about them was just talk. i actually meant the opposite.

they are brilliant. even if they're not your cup of tea and you continually bag them out, they are nothing short of brilliant. the music is so simple. it gives you hope that you are able to create something as beautiful, or half as beautiful as what they create. i'm so happy for myself that i have gotten over this thing that i had against them. it's oh kay to let music get into your blood stream. it's alright for the music to be close to everything in your existance. i can't believe it ended up being this band to have to come this close to my life. i honestly thought it would be someone else but it was them and i've accepted that.

i'm such a sad case.

Talk, talk, its only talk, comments, cliches, commentary, controversy, chatter, chit-chat, chit-chat, chit-chat, conversation, contradiction, criticism, it's only talk.

Treehut

i stood there and shared a headphone with five of my friends and we all said how shit it was. it wasn't just me. i was disappointed. i thought i'd like it but i'm not going to make myself like it because it's thom.

i just waxed my moustache. the pain from that was similar to the pain my ears felt listening to the eraser!
