They were metal gods in the late eighties/early nineties.

I saw Velvet Revolver play last year and while I don't think Slash is the sharpest tool in the toolbox he is one technically awesome guitarist.I guess I have a sentimental attachment to their early material but Axel appears to have the ego of Vanilla Ice and the temperment of Happy Gilmour.

Personally Axel Rose = Dick Head, hes an arsehole for screwing over the rest of his band, plus his voice is shite apart from possibly in welcome to the jungle.  apart from him, I think that gunbs and roses are quite cool.
