I would recommend it...its a pretty cool place. The only bad thing is if you're not a big sports person, you sorta get overlooked...but we do have nice natural hot pools (which I will be sitting in about 1 day - we're in winter now) and the best landscape you will ever see

I was reading about how the British introduced gorse (sp) into New Zealand cause they thought it looked pretty. What they didn't realise is the growing conditions here (we're pretty furtile)...so now its a weed.

No one knows why snakes are banned though. It was a law passed late last century (after someone wanted to import snakes to kill the rabbits) and they've been baned since. Someone tried sneaking in a snakeskin and it was big news (not much happens here)
