merci.

a lot of my friend's remembered, which was sweet. my important friend's remembered and that was all that mattered. it got announced on the pa at work as well. it was so embarrassing, my eyes welled up with tears because that was how embarrassed i was.

i haven't cut my cake yet because i am waiting for a few more people to come over. i'm just pigging out on a vegan jelly/custard/chocolate trifle that i made.

i thought i had seen it all in life but today proved i hadn't. i drove my little cousin to the synagogue today and she asked me to walk her to the back. i thought that was a bit strange but couldn't think of a reason not to walk her. i walked in with her and her whole class was there and i was faced with a surprise party for me. they sang happy birthday to me IN HEBREW!! it was amazing and so very funny. this little girl gave me a card she had made and it had ahava [it means love] written all over it. it was really touching. i take them out for ice cream sometimes in rabbi onan's van. i guess our ice cream trips mean a lot to them.
