Well having been a fan since the start, I think 1st of all newer as in the last 2 albums. I haven't heard Transgression all the way thru so I can't say. But as good as Archtype is the band didn't really gain new ground I thought. Yes it was good, but I hoped for better. Something newer. And let's face it Digimortal was a joke. Obsolete was the last best old FF. (Dino still in)


Personally I think Soul of and Demanufacture are 2 of the most influential and groundbreaking albums of all time.

Arguably even an influence on the deftones.
