Out of nowhere Ive been invited to interview - happening tomorrow - for a job I applied for a good while ago...as a forerunner to this offer I got offered a chance to go back to a previous place, plus I had an interview for another similarily paid job last week....but this one is a whole step above money-wise.  Its nice knowing it aint an all or nothing thing, but still - kinda nervy.  Not you understand about getting the job so much, just like, you know, looking like a fud.  I hate that.  Quietly confident Ill do alright but.

I'm okay, I was nowhere near where this happened. But it's just fucked up beyond belief. He killed at least 80 people out on that island, most of them were really young. It was a summer camp for a political youth organization.

Yeah pretty much. From what I understand that's exactly what the motivation was. The camp he shot up was a camp for a youth organization of the labor party in Norway, who campaign for equal rights for all ethnicities and religions. I guess this nutcase didn't like that.

Theyre saying theres a likelihood someone/others was/were involved now - which I thought was kind of a given, more relating to the bomb.  Seems unlikely the planning around organising bomb of that size was the work of one fucked up nutter.  Anyway - aside from all the fact giving and theorising, thoughts are with the people of Norway.  Scotland experienced this kind of thing with Dunblane, and well, its really fucking shitty.

I especially enjoyed how the wall street journal dealed with this.
