He want's something to happen. I would suggest to give it a go but then if you could be best friends and then fuck things up by dating. My best bet would think about what it would be like to be with him and also what it would be like to not have him in your life. Is there any mutual friends who you can trust to try and get some info and opinion on?

same. unless someone is kissing my mouth or neck then i don't get what they are trying to get across in regards to their feelings about me. i've been 'one of the boys' in a lot of friendships with guys so i'm not able to see them crossing that line in the middle for when they are trying to make a play for me.

he's very unreadable. today we were talking about this guy i was seeing that he hates and he just texted that 'my heart belongs to his eyes'. like, wtf? i jokingly just replied that he should stop flirting with me and that i was onto him. we have a lot of mutual friends because we're work mates. my friend was talking to him and he said something weird and she told him that him and i would make a perfect couple and he said that he didn't want to fall in love and get married (which he has told me a few times). i found it strange that he associated love and marriage to the idea of us. he could've said that we were just mates. there's a few people that think there's actually something going on because of the way we are around each other. he tells people that i am the coolest and most awesome person he's ever met. his eyes supposedly sparkle when he talks about me. i still am not convinced that there is anything involved other than friendship because i'm in it. i'm not outside of it to assess the situation. before my boss went on holiday he told me that he's pretty sure that he has a massive crush on me, but i just dismissed it becase i'm convinced we are mates and only mates. i find it extremely difficult to think he wants anything more than friendship.

If he said to you 'Look, I know we have been friends for ages and work together but I want our friendship to be something more' how would you feel and re-act to it?

i told him last night that he's a flirt and most of the things he says to me are things that can get misconstrued. we had a long chat about it and he never realised that the things he was saying were out of line and could easily be taken out of context. i told him that everyone at work thinks we're hot for each  other. he said that was strange. i really don't think he has a thing for me. he was just being nice and flirt-y. he's still very defensive about me talking to my ex. he said that my ex doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as me and will never deserve me. i know he cares about me but i don't know in what way. i don't think it's romantically. or he could just not be telling me how he feels because he doesn't know how he feels or thinks i wouldn't go for him because i'm older. plus he got transfered to another store (my local) last week so we don't work together anymore.

My grandmother has to go tomorrow and have a CT scan done,and they're going to put a IV in her chest to begin chemo soon.The cancer is in her pancreatic ducts and part of her stomach.Was told it is incurable,and I am praying like crazy (and for those that know me,know thats a huge feat) that she beats the statistics for this evil disease. My anxiety level right now is way up there.
