who ever said i like parties with loud annoying douchebags and vapid drunk attention whores dancing on tables? i don't think he really hit the nail on the head by putting words in my mouth. if anything i'm the first one out the door in situations like that. up here we're more into having a group of good friends together and having a kitchen party with awesome food, laughs and usually people bring instruments and we'll jam and whatnot. i outgrew the get drunk and dance on tables parties musings was talking about years ago. but whatever, you guys will just dismiss everything i say anyway.

you did. don't blame me, to say something like "you've guys been to some lame parties, you should come to my place, I'm gonna show you how to party" doesn't sound like eating some food and play acoustic guitar. if you meant that your partyies are pretty calm events then I think you expressed yourself a little sloppy

Oh yes. Zest is fucking awesome, really. When you get to levels 20-30 call me and tell me "I am a useless human being, because I just cannot solve this complexity easily and this fucks my brain so much, my brain hurts, my brain hurts!". We went up to 50-something..

This is very true.  It's not our fault that you lead us to conclude that you were talking about that kind of a party.  Or maybe you were, then after we continued to our conversation, you realized that how stupid you sounded and.............................. oh shit I don't even know why I'm typing this.  I'm just going to dismiss your response anyways.

currently staring at a blank word document. i'm trying to write a complaint letter to my boss about a department manager from work that has been saying some very racist things. when is this ever fucking pleasant.

I need to find a way to extend my visa or resident permit in Turkey. I am not a student here anymore, but I want to stay here for three months, just to live and hang out here. Most of the ways are borderline legal and risky.. and I would not like to be deported.

Can only help out with locations in Hamburg. Club size is what you're looking for I guess?

Molotow ( popular small bar/club, concerts take place in the basement, really cool)
Hafenklang ( good club for local bands / newcomers etc, known for it's gr8 atmosphere)

If money is not your biggest concern, I can also recommend the "Knust". Because of its position in the city, lots of people just go there, no matter who is playing or what kind of evening it is. Higher prices for drinks, and most likely also for entrance.

dude that's awesome! do you live in hamburg? i've been there once but we only strolled around reeperbahn and the streets around it so I pretty much don't know anything about hamburg.

I fucking hate my job ! my notice is handed in and yet im still getting stressed by this shit, i'm a project manager for construction projects and let me tell you now, if you are thinking of a career in construction be it arhcitecture, labouring, surveying, planning...fucking leave it be, after 4 years in the industry i can safely say: STEER CLEAR !

Also drinking during working hours is no way to deal with your problems.

haha yeah that's me and my friends band. We're hoping on doing a little diy-tour this april. So damn psyched, and couldn't be more happy with your help man. It's always so hard to know if a place is good or not to play judging by from their website (if they have one that is).

Anyways, if you guys would also play a show in the Cologne / Duesseldorf area in Germany, I can recommend you a couple venues as well. If it helps, you could also use my drumset and crash at my place.
