I don't know.  I hope not.  Then ill feel like I need to re-enlist for economic reasons.

btw, I have this stupid "net nanny" bull shit on at the hospital here and I don't know what you posted in the caffeine thread, but it wont let me in anymore.  This is lame as shit.
And I can't use my lap top.  Because during the battle over the pic thread.  Jacob banned my lap tops IP when I made a new username "variable2" just to piss him off.  ANd I totally forgot to ask for them to un ban that too.  On the other hand though, I got banned twice in one day.  Thug life.

" Hey, HEY Jim.  We have a problem.  We inflated the shit out of our currency and now people are rioting and we have no idea what to do."
"So, inflation is the problem?"
"Yeah Jim, inflation is the problem."
"Well then why don't we just hyper inflate it to solve the problem?"
"THATS FUCKING BRILLIANT JIM, WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T WE THINK OF THIS YEARS AGO?"
..............and so it goes.

I am putting that on mah FB. I lol'd.

Variable

Yeah it took a lot of brain power to come up with that.  The sad thing is, that it might actually go down like that.  Either that, or they know how fucked up they are, and they just don't care.

I dunno, it's really tough to say.  Greenspan was a die-hard free marketer back in the day, like he was actually for the gold standard.  So I dunno, he's definitely a traitor, whether he knows it or not.  Bernanke has proven he's pretty out to lunch in every capacity, but that's something I wonder about all the time.  Because I can see them being sinister characters, but at the same time, I can imagine that they're so surrounded by yes-men and piss-poor economists that they could actually believe in this shit.  I have a really hard time believing that they can still believe that the Fed is the great price stabilizer, God what a crock.

Variable

I think they just know that their prosperity completely relies on keeping this myth afloat.  And I honestly believe that they believe that they can float this scam for a lot longer if they put enough corrections into it.  It's just the middle class that bears the brunt of it on their back, and they know that.

I hate my paper. I am presenting it tomorrow, after 6 months of writing. My head's gonna explode.
Shit.

i think it could be because you're so immersed in it that it is all you're thinking about and it has consumed you so much that you have begun to hate it.

i watched a full episode of the killing tonight. i should watch it from the beginning instead of coming halfway.

Variable

I can't stand coming into TV series late.  If it were not for DVDs, I would never see any TV shows.  I need to start at the very begenning, and I need to be able to do like a season at a time.  I'm too impatient to wait to see what happens week by week.

blixa

there's a certain excitement about waiting for a show though. i still do it. it's the whole routine of doing it each week. it's nice. that said, i'm getting the boxset of the wire so i can watch it from start to finish.

i'm very bad at going in and buying tv series on dvd though. my mates usually burn everything on cd for me.

Variable

The Wire is hands down my favorite TV show.  I'm excited for you that your about to watch it.  I know a lot of people that agree with me that its the best TV show out there.  Or was the best TV show anyways.

But yeah, I hear you about waiting.  I have done that once or twice.  But I'm never really in a situation where I can do that anymore.  Just waiting for season 3 of "Sons of Anarchy", and new episodes of "The Pacific" is painful enough.

blixa

there's a lot of cool shows from denmark and england on the abc that i make sure i watch. that and true blood.

i've heard so many good things about the wire. steve told me how awesome it was when it was on in america. we didn't get it till a bit later but all my friends love it. i'm also going to have to watch six feet under.

Variable

I watched the first season of True Blood and hated it.  But I think those shows are aimed at the female perspective anyways.

Haha..that was great!

And Trey...whatever...True Blood is teh shiz!!! Though I hate Anna Paquin and think they cold have picked a better girl to portray Sookie,it's a great show. I <3 Eric and Lafayette.

Variable

Sookie was the best part of that show.

Um hell no! Lafayette is one of the main reasons a lot of people I know keep watching that show. He's hawt!

He has a shirt that say's BITCH...I want it. You should look to him for fashion.  ;D

plus...u cant go wrong with the 'tuck part of my shirt in to show off my cool belt buckle' look....

Variable

If someone watches a show just because they like some small side character like Lafayette, please tell them that I suggest getting a life.  Or not taking the Gay rights movement quite so seriously.
