first day of my honours degree today and i still haven't gotten rid of my headache.

i know i'm going to go insane this year. i just fucking know it.

Well, maybe except for those five months in Turkey with Erasmus, if I make it obviously..

you did an exchange program? in turkey? wow. hakkari is my grandparent's homeland. it's really pretty.

there's just so much. my lecturer told me that your honours year is the year where you become a real artist, but i'm really not feeling it. i have to write this huge arsed paper. granted it's about a topic i care about (eschatology) but it really hit me sitting in that classroom today how alone i am going to be this year because none of my good friend's are going through this process with me.

I applied for it, I'll be having the english exam in about a week now, then some meetings and then I'll know if I'm in.
I have to get in.

I need to escape this shithole I am in now.

granted you have to sit the english test. can you speak english well? obviously you can read and write it pretty good.

I speak english even better. I don't mean to brag or something, but really, my english is really good - well, at least considering from where I am, lol.

the test includes some reading, grammar, listening and that's it I guess. my university friends tell me (who already took the test last year) I'll pass it easily, without opening any book. but with my lately exhausting low self-esteem, I'm not sure anymore. But still, all my friends say I'll pass all the tests I need to and I'll be leaving for next semester..

Do you guys have the superstition that if you thank someone who wishes you luck before you do something that you needed the luck to do, it kinda curses you with double the unluckiness? I'm not a superstitious man, BUT. this always gets me, lol..
