So, child porn is "hilarious and loveable"?

Necrocetaceanbeastiality

Well...no...

...but 4chan is.

It's pretty much the most addictive thing I have ever experienced...and I am a smoker...and have been addicted to opiates.

Jacob

oh, "go back to"... yeah that also makes sense.

as for 4chan, I don't support it in any way. yes, some really funny stuff comes from there, but considering one of their biggest obsessions is kiddie porn, it's not exactly ok to hang around and browse their pictures imo. last night I went there as I made that post above and it took me about 3 mns before I saw what seemed to be kiddie porn.

what I do like about 4chan is how the websluts flock around it.

It's the epitome of free speech. As everyone is completely anonymous. Which is why it's so appealing.

I am a fan of the camwhores, the memes, some raids...and truly original content. For the OC, I usually just go to 4chanarchive.

Jacob

can't IP's still be tracked? how anonymous are the users really? sounds fishy to me.

Penicks

Of course IP's can be tracked. Like recently, 200 police agents guarded a school in Belgium because someone posted on /b/ on the 13th of January this year that he was gonna blow it up on 09/09/09.

Also you should read the rules.

Jacob

fucking morons, you'd at least expect them to realize they still need a vpn or something to hide their ip.

yet another reason not to bother with 4chan.

Necrocetaceanbeastiality

Anonymity to each other.

The IPs can be tracked, but only while the thread is still u, but considering if a thread has not been posted in in...oh say 20 minutes, the thread 404s, so the window of tracking said IP is pretty slim. And anyone doing anything illegal on 4chan really isn't stupid enough to do it without taking proper precautions. So in reality, the users are a fuckton more anonymous than you would initially think. True /b/tards are not as stupid as the whole of /b/ makes them seem.

Jacob

well, that's in the eye of the beholder if you ask me.

Necrocetaceanbeastiality

Eh. Whatever.

Don't get me wrong, I don't approve of a lot of the shit there, but it is a disgusting place that I get a fuckload of enjoyment out of. We do it for the lulz, anon is legion, etc etc etc.

Jacob

I know man, I've had some good laughs there as well. I'm just saying it's a dangerous place full with dangerous people, that's all.

Necrocetaceanbeastiality

On a whole I don't really think it's dangerous. Yes, there are dangerous people there, but where AREN'T there dangerous people? Have you ever done that thing where you put in your address and it shows you where all the convicted sex offenders live in your neighborhood and specifically, what sex crimes they committed? You cannot go ANYWHERE without being near at least one dangerous person. People are inherently dangerous.

"So I'm 21, and I kissed a girl for the first time today. HIGH FIVE! We had talked on msn for like a year, met once before, she insisted on excessive hugging etc, and we met again today, and after more excessive hugging we kissed."

THIS is the true /b/. Depressed nerds that have never had a relationship and have a place to go, where they are completely anonymous to each other and take out their frustrations on the world. THAT is the beauty of /b/. And honestly, it pisses me off that a bunch of morons ruin it with garbage. It's polluted.

Penicks

/b/ stopped being good about 2 years ago.

nonesuch

ive never even heard of /b/ or 4chan

holy fuck that shit is serious

what was it like 2 years ago?
i drink your milkshake

Penicks

Just got too big. Before that there weren't as many new members who made shitty posts and it really felt like you were part of something unique. Hence their rule number one: Never mention /b/ anywhere. :)

Nowadays, meh, 4chan's in my god damned newspaper, so no, not cool. Best example is this Youtube channel, where lame hipsters let us know that they 'get the internets' because it is full of  'lulz'. Lame.

But there still pops good shit out of it now and then, that's for sure.

Livewire

I haven't had a date in three and a half years.  I'm about to lose my damn mind.

Rules 1 and 2 only apply to raids.

Jacob

what's this they call "raids"? is it when they single out one poor webslut and totally ruin her life?

anyways, this is absolutely fucking adorable...

I lol'd.

And in regards to your question, yes. And raiding forums, websites, chartooms...whatever. Back in the day though, raids really only occurred when people/places deserved it. Now it's just a thing.

EDIT: Speaking of /b/.

WTF IS THIS SHIT?

The post numbers start at 1 and go up to 50. Did /b/ crash?

Jacob

I gotta say I prefer raiding in mmo's then ;D

and that's some weird shit with /b/ - think someone finally had enough?

has that place ever been hacked btw? I can imagine it'd be pretty high on lots of hacker's priority lists.
