and wow, that does seem pretty crazy.  I hear the argument from both sides though.  Sure, I guess it seemed harmless enough to her.  But at the same time, the guys in the industry and that free market think tank are right, it could have actually cost them a lot of money in sales.

I personally dont support free downloads.  I stopped using free FTP years ago.  I have never used a torrent either.  I just use itunes or buy the actual movie or album I want.  Its not that hard.  I'm just not selfish enough to save $14.00 and take part in sinking one of the largest industries America has left to float its economy on.  But hey, If your really THAT broke, then do what you do.  But go to college while you do it so that someday you can stop stealing, and you can contribute to society like the rest of us.  Thanks.
