i'm just chillin, i'm kinda stoned, about to go to bed.  tonight i decided that pork chops are better than pride, freedom of speech, money and probably even jesus when cooked properly.  i'll be in the same boat as you saturday morning for sure.

yeah, i got done with work/working out too late to warrant going out so i just went back to my parents' house to smoke a bowl and kick it.  plus, tonight is gonna be a pure fucking shit show, i'm hoping to at least piss myself.  i'm from minnesota, in a suburb of the twin cities.  i'm living with my parents for the summer, but i'm moving back to duluth (where my college is) in september.  wakeboarding is the shit, by the way.

I cant seem to stay in tche same time zone for more than 2 weeks.  last week I was in virginia, the week before that new mexico, couple weeks before that texas, week before that hawaii, week before that new mexico, week before that nevada. Now im back in fucking okinawa, just getting ready to go right back to virginia.  then afghanistan.  Fuck time zones

As I said already somewhere else, I got 3 suture points yesterday on my big toe... How should I clean the wound ? I got some hydrogen peroxyde, which I guess should be OK... Should I change the "bandage" everyday, and stuff, etc ?

All advices welcome, cause the doctors weren't very helpful, and I didnt think about asking that kind of stuff...

It's nothing serious though, I'm just kinda curious...

You never want to put full strength peroxide on any wound.  It causes the edges to become jagged and it takes longer to heal and is more likely to scar.  But it is ok if you half it with water.  Stuff like neosporin is ok but the main ingredient is Vaseline so in reality it really does not make that big of a difference.  The only reason I like it is because it will prevent the bandage from sticking on the wound if there is any puss (which there should not be any puss).  But yes change the dressing every day.  Or even better every 12 hrs if there is any drainage.  Alcohol only kills by friction so I would not use that.  Iodine is good but you have to let it sit there and dry for it to kill anything.  In reality the best thing that you can do is just rinse it off in clean water with a little bit of pressure behind it.  It will cause the bacteria to be washed away instead of killing it it.  A bit of soap never hurt either.  But I mean preventative medicine is always the best.  Just keep it clean and change out your dressings.  All the bacteria and shit gets soaked up into those dressings so a constant change good.  But in reality those sutures were out in to close your skin and prevent any more bacteria from getting in.  So its not all that big of a deal.  As long as they did a good job of cleaning it at the hospital you should not have all that much to worry about.

Sorry if that was a bit of skewed info.  Just be sure to make it in time to get them cut out in time and do those simple things to keep it clean.  Like I said, sutures were meant to keep bacteria out so its not that big of a deal.

How fragile is your wound when the stitches are off ? They said they will get them off next saturday (7 days after so).
Can I do everything normal ? Like make some effort on the scar, etc ?

yeah it should be fine to do whatever as long as it closed properly.  It will take like a lot longer to fully heal.  I cant quite remember how long but its over a year.  So you will notice the scar getting better over time.  But you should be able to do whatever you want one it once they take the sutures out
