i watched deftones at pinkpop 06 earlier. they played bqad and i was sitting at my computer amazed by how bad chinos voice was. i thought they had completely lost it live, and i was so dissapointed. then as i thought that. they fucking blasted into When Girls Telephone Boys, and it was fucking amazing.

I talked to a girl called Amy from Washingon for like 40 mins, after that i fell i love. I'm not kidding. Infact Rock Am Ring and PinkPop sucked hard, literally because Chino was obviously wasted.

Which made me think my first gig of theirs the following week from those festivals was gonna be terrible, but oh how wrong was i!

Hmm, there's still few seats left for The Unholy Alliance but the floor is full...should I take them? Cuz seeing Slayer, LOG, COB and In Flames when seated is like masturbating without hands. I wanna get into the pit!

Though death would be near in the pit like it was in Bodom's pit at Wacken. Insanity!

Bodom's pit combined by In Flames pit, Combined by Lamb of Gods pit AND wall of death, then the last final pit, the ultima pit! SLAYERS PIT!!

Man whoever survives the pits all night during that tour over here is a true legend!

See the Metal Hammer this month, it had a free Unholy Alliance DVD with it, that had footage from the US tour. It didnt look too bad to tell the truth. I always thought American crowds were supposed to be more hectic.

Oh and Mastodon sounded fucking awesome!

Yeah, I do get the fact that opening for Tool is a great idea but i can't help but think they should of been on the bill for the UK version of the Unholy Alliance Tour.

If Mastodon were on Unholy Alliance, they're the band I'd be going to see hands down! I'm kind of happy that Mastodon are playing with Tool instead though, then I get to see In Flames as well as the Don this year (I think 5 is the limit for number of bands at the Unholy Alliance).

My good mate Lee who isnt a big LOG fan but he likes them, said they were the best band he saw at Download last year, I personally think they're fuckin' amazing, some of the riffs they come up with and Chris Adler the drummer uggh his work is... *creams*

I may still just go, fuck it, even if it's on my own i'm going to risk going down the front and just get eaten alive, might aswell man.
