man, I feel like a horrible person right now. last night I got home about 5 in the morning. I live on the third floor and as I walk up the stairs I see a girl lying on the second floor in front of an apartment door. I just think "hm, that's weird. what's she doing there?" to myself and walk past her. then I turn back and to see if she's awake. I shake her a bit and try to talk to her but get no response. I hear she's breathing heavily as if she's sleeping so I just think "alright, she's most likely drunk and passed out. maybe she lost her keys while out drinking" and go up to my place. didn't think more of it. but today I told my grandma about it and she said I should've called 112 (911 in sweden) and I just can't shake the feeling that I didn't do the right thing. what would you have done? I need someone to tell me I'm not a horrible person.

well, thanks. but it sounds like you're only saying that to be nice. I mean, what if she needed to go to the hospital because of alcohol poisoning? or what if the next guy who saw her lying there would've done something horrible?

You did the right thing.  You checked her to make sure she was alive.  She was breathing and she was probably passed out.   You are not a horrible person.  Don't worry about it.   I mean, I would understand you feeling bad, if you found out she had died.  But all is well!   Rest assured... yer not a bad guy.

that's not what I said. trust me, I've met a lot of stupid people over here.

it's more the whole thing with making a TV show based on how stupid people are and them not even realizing how stupid they are. you should check out some more of those clips.

in the end though, no one is surprised anymore when things like these pop up and the people are always american. don't take it so hard, I'm not saying you or any other americans on here are stupid. I'm just saying you should all probably try to do something about your education system.
