Anyone have some info on good external hardrives? my computer is dying on me and I don't want to lose all my work or my music. I checked on Best Buy and compUSA and they have some for 100 dollars but are they any good? I know you get what you pay for but I don't wanna look the fool if it sucks.

I bought a hardrive at CompUSA over a year ago and its still working fine. My mother's comp was acting up and I knew I had to replace it soon.. like you I was having the "oh god 100 bucks for a hardrive means it's gonna suck" dilemma, but I'm pleasantly surprised.. plus I have a 5 year warranty.  Good luck..

lol @ breakdance..I paid $34.99 for the 5 year.. they offered a year originally.. the 2 year was cheaper though at $24.99..granted not that much but hey 10 bucks when you dont have it is big..
