no shit, man.... STP is one of those bands I've loved for a long time but always known I'd never get the chance to see live. I'm not into Velvet Revolver, but if I got the chance to see them I think I would... just for the slight chance of them playing an STP song or two.

Exactly the reason I went although I also wanted to catch Slash live.

It was funny though as I went with a good friend and we both went crazy when they played "Sex Type Thing" (Scott started with just the megaphone chanting "Here I come, I come, I come, I come"...it was amazing) and all these younger VR fans were looking at us and saying "WTF?This song is'nt on the album?"

I definitely agree. it's a shame the singer left, although the stuff after that is great too. but the guitarist just isn't a very good singer.
