Someone said they are constantly being put in a position to defend PETA because not everyone agrees with their methods and tactics and they weren't sure what to do about it. PETA's response was not to waste time defending the organisation, but to instead defend the reasons, ie the animal's suffering, as to why they do what they do. As activists, we need to keep in mind that everything PETA, and other AR groups do, is strictly for the animals. There will always be people who do or do not agree with campaigns from any organisation. Although I do not agree with everything PETA, or any group for that matter, does, I cannot overlook that PETA is the most successful animal rights groups in the world. By successful I do not just mean the number of times they are in the press or how many people they've gotten to go vegan. They've convinced the most companies to move to cruelty-free practices, the most legislative victories for the animals and they provide the greastest number of free resources for activists. The list goes on and on. Whether or not an organisation is perfect is not really the point of being an animal rights activist. Solidarity is a critical component of any justice movement. Unfortunately in the animal rights movement, we tend to waste more time bashing each other's ways of getting the anti-cruelty message out than we do actually working for ending of the animal's suffering.

Seeing Meet Your Meat was one of the catalysts that pushed me even harder in my belief in veganism, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

No, but they're supposed to be shopping it around to labels this month. Maybe DVH and the new WHVN will come out on the same label. I'm surprised Distruktor or Attinuator aren't releasing them. ...or maybe they are, but they need a bigger label's help.

When they announced Distruktor they said they were going to release unreleased WHVN and Tinfed, I the Tinfed was sort of a B-Sides & Rarities from Synaptic Hardware era to post Tried + True, I'm sure the WHVN thing was similar. I really want those

Now that I've said that, it's odd that something Tinfed was set to come out on Distruktor when they have Attinuator which is still somewhat around I think cause DVH's merch page is hosted by Attinuarto.com...I want the crest shirt so bad, I need to get that at a show sometime.
