board awards should definately be like a solemn cermony, in the end of the year like a summary.that feeling would be way off now.
however, filling one out IS pretty fun. if you do one, it could be like a pre board awards to the real on in the end of the year

It's been a long while now since we've done one. It seems to take a long time for people to get their votes in and everything added up so an early start wouldn't be half bad.

Why do you feel like it has to be at the end of the year? It doesn't have to be based on what happened in 2012 alone. If it was based strictly on a one year period, why not do it from july to july?

well....it's about the atmosphere i guess? to me, it just makes much more sense to sum up a year period at the end of the year.you did so last time, why? like they do a chronicle on tv to sum up a year when new years eve approaches. to me this is like celebratring christmas in the summer,but i get i'm alone on this thought and its' fine
