I bought lost boys 2 weeks ago for $5. I was happy about that!!

is that because there's a female protagonist? i think it's aimed at anyone who enjoys a good show and let me assure you that all the women are watching for eric. and i disagree with you, kelly, i think anna paquin is amazing as sookie and i cannot imagine anyone else doing it after i saw her become sookie. the sookie in the books is extremely in love with herself and i'm so glad anna paquin is taking a different approach to it. i love her gap tooth. i've always wanted a gap tooth. ALWAYS.

and lafayette is supposed to be dead at this point, like kelly said, but they've strayed quite a bit from the books so it's okay. i find myself calling my mum "hooker" sometimes hahaha. he's proven to be a really popular character so i don't think we'll see him go any time soon. he's not entirely camp, he's actually pretty tough. i can bet he is able to kick all the rednecks arses. it's like he's a stereotype and an anti-stereotype at the same time. i love that. he messed with my head a bit.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Anna's acting. Me being a southern woman,hearing her "southern" accent is embarrassing.

But I too find myself going around saying Hooka. haha He always has such beautiful makeup too.  I've already seen the guy who is gonna play Alcide,and he's quite pretty too.

michael sheen was in new moon to my dismay. he's just brilliant as lucian though. he'll always be a lycan to me.

i've totally seen the guy who plays alcide and i couldn't believe how well they've cast him. i can't wait till they cast quinn when the time comes. the way he's described in the books is quite impressive. i don't know if you've watched interviews with anna paquin but she always tends to revert back to a kiwi accent which i find endearing. a southern accent can either be well done or sound ridiculous. ryan kwanten does a very good job considering he's a sydney boy and most of us sound like bogans.

Oh Yes! I adore Gary Oldman too. I loved him as Sirius Black also.

I think they cast Alcide well too. At first I thought the guy that played the Texas vampire Stan Davis in season two was a ringer for him,but I really like this Joe guy. They have little minisodes on HBO right now,and one of them had he and Anna talking. It also showed who Debbie Pelt and Crystal Norris (who I thought didn't come around till later books) would be played by. I can't wait for season 3 a week from Sunday!

I do think Ryan has a fabulous southern accent! I was quite shocked when I read he wasn't southern...or American for that matter.
