How old do you think is old enough to go Trick or Treating with friends and no parents?

i say as long as they are all double digits its cool, as long as they stay in the neighborhood. if there are any kids in single digits with em, i would go. i just see 10 as the magic number but 12 is better

I kind of want to do the thing that mom's do... Stay home and answer the door.    We have gone to my mom's every year since my oldest was old enough to take around in a costume ( 10 years )   Yeah.. he thinks he is too old..... I am praying he will go.. he will have alot of fun.   Hes got football pads.. I tried talkin him into going with his best friend (who is also 11) as football players.  Im like... "YOU WILL GET CANDY!!!"    Anyway, I bet he decides to go before its all over.
No costume for me... btw.
