Yes.   Many people I didn't know well, as I worked in a nursing home.   But I did see my Grandmother die.   it was pretty heartwrenching.

I saw an accident where a truck rammed into a bike and the guy riding flew off and slammed the back of his head on the side of the pavement and it split open with his pink/white brains splattered all over the place.
