The Mummy 4DX was ...awesome. I went into the movie with a healthy dose of skepticism. 4DX is, quite honestly, shockingly exciting. Love the Mummy!

Spider-Man Homecoming was sooooo great ! As a huge Spidey fan, I can say I was satisfied with this portrayal. Perfect combination of Peter Parker and Spider-Man ( Tobey was the better Peter to me , whereas Andrew was the better Spider-Man, if that makes any sense ) , Keaton's Vulture is sympathetic yet totally menacing when he needs to be , and everything is so ridiculously relatable that I felt like I was back in high school when they had those shitty morning " news " shows with the shitty greenscreen and all just like how it was in my high school lol. Glad Spidey's back where he belongs at Marvel, even though... Ya know... Sony's still gonna fuck it up most likely

War For The Planet Of The Apes

Great conclusion to a great trilogy. Looking forward to get another Caesar's bust just like Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.

Dunkirk

Underwhelming and over hyped to the max by Nolan fans and critics :/

bright lights, big city

thought Dunkirk was one of Nolan's best movies yet. Visually stunning and tense for the whole 90 minutes.

Only complaint is that Nolan still can't fucking find a good sound mixer. For the little dialogue there was, gonna need some subtitles for half of it.

Fuck it. DUNKIRK is Nolan's masterpiece. A magnificent audiovisual experience at all levels. Not a single (!) mediocre picture frame. And this comes from one who thinks Inception and Interstellar are overrated.

Alien Covenant

It wasn't the best from the franchise but it is a nice addition.

Blade Runner 2049.

Denis Villeneuve did the impossible and made a more than worthy sequel to the greatest sci-fi movie ever.

This was beautiful.

I'm seeing it this weekend, and I can't wait. Looks gorgeous, and I've been confident in it since hearing Villeneuve was attached to direct this. Got such a hard-on for his movies.

You're in for a treat! It's great. Really great...and I need to see it again. So much to digest.

And Hans Zimmer has done it again. I was afraid that the soundtrack would be too bombastic ala Dark Knight (love that, but it doesn't fit into the Blade Runner realm), but it was just perfect. Intense and atmospheric.

A lot of BRAHHHMS, but I still liked the score, it fit with the scenes. I actually did enjoy 2049 more than the original. Visually, up there with my favorites like Fury Road, just every scene was incredibly beautiful (Like Wallace's water office especially). Roger fucking Deakins should finally get awarded for this one.
