Watched Inside, a french horror film

I enjoyed it. Not the greatest, but definitely entertaining.

Inside's great. Just a fun, fucked up bloodbath.

Have you seen Martyrs? Another french horror flick. It's pretty demented as well.

actually I just rewatched Martyrs again recently, and I've decided I enjoy Martyrs even more than Inside. that ending is fucking incredible.

Watched Zodiac again, loving David Fincher

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard.

Had zero expectations, but thought it was pretty damn funny.

I just got finished watching (500) Days of Summer. I have to admit I was expecting more out of this film, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel did such a great job in this film, I pretty much forgot about the plot. They had great chemistry in Manic and they do it again with this film. I could relate to Summer's character and her views on love and I do think love is a crock. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is enigmatic and one of those actors you can't stop staring at. He's got a certain talent that not too many actors possess.

Burn After Reading: 7/10 - pretty funny and clever. but a bit slow. good acting all around, but Clooney and Pitt were awesome as usual.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Expected the worst, but actually ended up enjoying it for the most part. A lot of the dialogue was lame as hell, the humor fell flat and I hated the two "gangster" decepticons.

Other than that, entertaining blockbuster.

"Shinjuku Incident" starring Jackie Chan

Very good crime drama, quite un-jackie Chan movie. He's not a cop or looking for his uncle. And he doesn't do any crazy stunts. I will say it's better then his last two Hollywood movies (Karate Kid included). I definitely recommend it for any Jackie Chan fan.

I watched Woyzeck last night. This film was weird, even for me. I couldn't really get into it, not like Strozeck. I also forgot how depressing Werner Herzog films are.

Watched Jacob's Ladder and Leaving Las Vegas last night.

First time I've seen Jacob's but great flick imo, re-watching LLV reminded me why I rated Nicholas Cage as an actor before Con-Air and Ghost Rider.

Elisabeth Shue is hugely underrated.If she played her cards right....

Watched Sherlock Holmes, which I liked, and then threw in Rock N Rolla for the first time (Guy Ritchie kind of day) and thought it was slow to start, but good by about halfway through.
