So I was watching Edward Scissor hands for the first  time in like 12 years or however long but I realized that my favorite character in it is the dad of Wynona. Hes funny as hell. Hes like a real dad, not a movie dad.

But that movie is kinda weird. I don't know how it makes me feel. Can't put my finger on it.

See I've always liked that movie, but it makes me feel uncomfortable too, and I can't think of any reason why.

It was actually pretty damn close to the story and I think that made it so much better.  A lot of his other movies tend to stray from the source material even when King had a hand in writing the screenplay.  The Mist was the closest I have seen.

the ending of the mist was so devastating...almost too much for me... and it takes a lot to get me riled up.

some dodgy CGI here and there, but nothing looked downright terrible.

really great flick and some of the best horror in yeeeeeears.

i literally yelled out "YES!!!" when marcia gay harden's character got shot. that was a fantastic moment.

They changed the ending from the story which was a bit disappointing for me.  However, they did make up for it.
