If you haven't, I suggest you see Sex and Lucía. That's a really great film that stars her as well.

Watched Constantine a while back...I thought it tried too much to be something cool. I was a bit disappointed.

Yesterday I watched The Manson Family which was disturbing but kinda boring.

And today I watched Taxi. The best part was, of course, Gisele Bundchen making a body search for Jennifer Esposito. There was some funny stuff too but overally it sucked compared to the original french version, which is brilliant.

The Captain

OK, last time at Hollywood I rented...

BASEketball - Only saw it once before and it was years ago and Joey and I were talking about it so I rented it. A little different from what I remembered, but worth the 2nd watch and I like the Reel Big Fish video on the DVD. Also it made me appreciate Dude, Where's My Car? less because of the VERRRRY similar Dude arguments.

A Very Long Engagement - Loved it. Not really what I was expecting, but I liked it a lot, it was interesting and I love the power of hope/love because I'm a sappy bitch. I was really surprised to see Marion Cotillard in it because she was in another French film I saw recently and loved, Love Me If You Dare. I liked her a lot though so it was a nice surprise. It's just weird to have only seen 2 French movies before and on my 3rd one seeing the leading ladies from the other 2.

Anyway, going to Hollywood later, more commentary to come.

EDIT: oops, I've also soon The Man Who Cried which is a French movie and I don't believe it has any of the same cast.

That makes two of us, but Amélie is still better.

That Reel Big Fish video on the BASEketball DVD, is it their cover of A-ha's "Take on Me"? If it is, that's a good cover.

I saw The 40 Year-Old Virgin today...with my mom. We got in about 5 minutes into the film when I think I accidentally grabbed a woman's breast when trying to find a seat in the theater, but I digress. It was better than I expected it to be. It was smart and funny. Some of it was gross, but it was gross with grace. And I found myself to be strangely attracted to Steve Carell.    Me and my love for nerds.

We went to see Devil's Rejects tonight. I thought it was entertaining. The end was kinda weird though.

Hands down. ...I mean it, young lady, hands down, stop molesting strange women.
