I saw The Island last night with my mom. It was your typical Michael Bay film--30 minutes of a story and an hour and a half of action. I was really disappointed with Scarlett Johansson's performance, or just her role. The movie made her out to be a ditzy blonde. Yeah, she doesn't know too much, but neither did Ewan's character, but the made Ewan more in control than Scarlett, who had a perplexed look on her face throughout the whole film.

It's the same problem I had with The Bourne Identity and Franka Potente. That, and some of the action was ridiculous. There were these huge action scenes and the characters go through these dangerous situations, but they don't have a scratch on them. I wanted them to look like crap at one point during the film.

It had a really good plot, it just copped out on the thinking process. It was good...for a mindless action film.

My dad bought a bootleg version of Sin CIty when he was in China.  So now I don't have to buy the shit version of the movie before the real one comes out.  I watched it twice today.

I saw Kung Fu Hustle, Goodbye, Lenin! and Four Brothers this weekend and all three were good....shockingly.

Broken Flowers was fantastic. an awesome awesome movie. i loved how all the actors in the film were some of my favorites. the whole movie about visiting old girlfriends was really interesting to me. i loved how you got to see all of these different types of women and how they're like now.

the ending was superb.

I saw "The Amityville Horror" today.. Great creepy movie!
I don't care what anyone say, but this version OWNS the original.

Indeed The Jacket was great.. saw Red Eye and Skeleton Key Saturday, I was impressed with them both..

I watched Drugstore Cowboy the other night. It was ok, a little cheesy, but then again it's from 1989.
