I saw Scott Pilgrim not too long ago and I thought it was awful.

I guess you are a serious guy. My dad didnt like it too.
If you like comics, videogames and nerd its pretty frigging awesome movie.

I'm actually a girl, but I don't mind being referred to as a guy either.

I think the fact that I'm not into those things did play a part as to why I wasn't fond of the film, but I just didn't think the movie was all that funny or interesting. Had it been written better, I think I would have been okay with this film.

Not so much the story, but the structure of the story. It didn't flow the way it should have. That and the dialogue wasn't very good as well. I was actually okay with the concept of the story.

I saw Elite Squad 2 recently as well. Should get way more recognition than it does, it was definitely one of the best movies I watched from last year.

This sounds like a terrible way to describe it, but it was basically a gritty, Brazilian Michael Mann kind of movie.

I think Chronicle could have been much better if it wasn't fucking found footage. The end battle was so cheesy with all the cameras around them in the air just so you could have "footage".
