Mei

I'm not a huge fan of it.. but I might go see it this Sunday who knows  Depends on the boredom factor that day
I Keep You Jealously To Myself

ragdoll

well, i don't know what your taste is like...but i didn't think i would be a fan, until i went to see it.

Mei

Well usually unless I say out loud "Fuck that was disturbing.." or "That kicked ass" I usually could of done without seeing it. So as a general rule it has to be pretty disturbing and freaky

btw, i thought Batman sucked...Tim Burton would have ruled it like he did 1 and 2

batman begins kills all the crappy tim burton ones easily

Mei

Anyone else think Manson would of been better than Johnny Depp in Willy Wonka...cause I do

actually he took inspiration from marilyn manson for the roll oddly enough

Mei

LOL really...that's wild. I saw the preview for it yesterday on tv and thought "Manson is sooooo that part" Interesting indeed  8)

The Captain

No. Fuck Manson...although I did like him in Party Monster, haha

Mei

I think he'd be perfect... but then again you are the one to always disagree with me

I didn't feel like searching through 23 pages for it, but:

Anyone seen "Hotel Rwanda"?

I dare you to watch it and not be moved.

The Captain

Is it anything like City of God?

Azwethinkweiz

^ city of god is amazing..

anyways, just watched "Saw" for the 2nd time.. I really like that movie, i love the twist in the end.
It's also a fucking disturbing and gut wrenching movie but the plot is very clever and I think it's an awesome thriller!

Yeah, the ending totally fucked with me, i loved that.

Mazzy

SAW's ending was just confusing. Adam is so freaking hot though...jesus!!

You know in movies where the characters are brushing their teeth, how come they don't get the white froth that you usually get when you brush your teeth. Wouldn't that be more realistic than a clean brushing of the teeth and the two times where they rinse. It takes more than two times to completely get the toothpaste residue out of your mouth. Why do some movies skip the realistic brushing and try to glamorise it, it just ends up looking stupid. Just a thought really.

i saw Hotel Rwanda in my film class , i wasnt moved, i thought it was ok , not bad at all . tho,  i probably have to watch it for a second time i guess, i wasnt really into it at the time, also we watch like 40 min of the film in one period, then continue watching it like next week or 2 weeks later.

i just finished watching Maria Full Of Grace, the acting is wonderful and i liked the realistic story, but the ending was like too quick it felt. but a good film nonetheless.

im gonna see City Of God soon, it looks great. i have it on dvd , i just hadnt got the time to put it on, now that i have much time ill  get to it, like a whole bunch of other films i have.

oh and Batman Begins was amazing, the best batman along with Batman returns, i think its that one, with danny devito as penguin.

The Captain

Just watched Love Me If You Dare, god what an emotionally taxing film...I loved it, but the ending was depressingly beautiful. Geez, I still feel all...I dunno...blah, must be on my man rag.

But before that, I watched The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, which was very entertaining, smart, witty, I loved it and I want some Team Zissou adidases sooo bad!!

Plot wise, not really. They're on two different levels, but the emotional impact, I say, is pretty similar in structure.

I saw Pi and The House of Yes this weekend.

For The House of Yes, that movie is fucked and never will I look at a brother and sister or Jackie Onasis the same ever again. Parker Posey is fucking awesome, oh my God! I need to see more of her films, but I seriously don't blame her character fucking her twin brother. He was pretty fucking hot.

For Pi, it made me love Darren Aronofsky. Wow, what a great film. The acting was really strong and the plot was great. I could see some elements that rubbed off onto Requiem For A Dream. Good movie.

feeling like more

going to see war of the worlds tomorrow
