I saw 9 Songs last night, and it wasn't good at all. I think pornos have a better storyline than this. It felt as if the writer wanted to be groundbreaking and half the time just wanted to say "Hey! These people are actually having sex!" All this movie had was a concert scene then a sex scene, then the writer decides to have these people have somewhat of a meaningful relationship halfway through the film, which is a bad idea when you have already seen ten sex scenes in twenty minutes. It's hard to think of these people as a couple and feel for them when we never get a chance to know them.

I need to see that movie ! It didn't get to any of the theatres near me, si I missed it at the movies. Hope it gets on DVD soon.

the movie that was extremly overrated this year was the departed. good movie but it pales in comparison to the original infernal affairs and in my opinion dosen't deserve all the praise it's getting.

I didn't like that movie much. it had its moments where it was really funny and the acting was good, but it tried too hard to be cute and a "feel-good flick".


I watched A.I. Artificial Intelligence a couple days ago, and that's a movie I really like.... to hell with everyone who complains about the ending. I love every bit of it!

I watched 'Tenacious D: In the Pick of Destiny' tonight.

It was pretty damn awesome!

I just finished with Manhattan, one of Woody Allen's better films. I think it's just great how he can create dialogue like that. I especially love that one scene where they are at the planitarium. It's a great use of lights and shadows.

Just watched the newest James Bond flick, Casino Royal.  Kinda boring...watch it if you're a huge poker fan.

Grandma's Boy (It was garbage) - 1/10
Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny (Awesome) - 8.5/10
The Covenant (Pretty bad, but entertaining nonetheless) - 5.5/10

Smokin Aces was really weird. they tried too hard to have this Oceans Eleven-feeling, but  this movie is NOTHING compared to Oceans Eleven. There are some cool actors, though.

Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle was rather bad. another lame Stoner movie. my friends liked this movie and I still don't get it.

Apocalypto is quite impressive. very brutal, even though at times it suffers from the lame story. it's all good since the action dominates. and there is lots of it.

Hannibal Rising, at last is the best of the aforementioned movies. the story is quite predictable, you know he's simply going to kill the guilty ones. but Gaspard Ulliel plays Hannibal so good, and thereby contributes to the great atmosphere of a great movie.

Man, Harold and Kumar is an awesome movie.
