It sucks that such big portions are missing, like whole scenes.

I watched Donnie Darko last night for the first time. Ok. Umm, well, it took me a whole, like, two hours after it ended to actually start thinking about what it meant and if infact, it actually means anything at all. I talked to my friend about it before I started watching it and she said 'dude, don't try to describe this movie to yourself cause it's near-impossible to describe.' I didn't get what she meant but now I do.

I loved it. It was weird and dark and it has that humorous lament, which is also dark. Frank is the most scariest thing I have seen in my life. The whole dialogue between Frank and Donnie really left me speechless. The whole movie in a sense is so deeply emotional. What is important is that movies like this are made, and are seen by those open to the great possibilities of life and cinema.

The music was unbelievable. Someone is going to be bopping to the record store today to purchase it  8)

Watched High Tension earlier and I'm still pissed off, what a fucking waste of time. Fucking...fuck...I am repressing the urge to rant.

8) ..no really what was so bad about ? i was going to rent but got " Cujo" instead.           damn i love that movie.

ohh yea ..." KUTT hez FUCKING hED OFFFFF...."

The Captain

I need to see Cujo again, I haven't seen that since I was a kid. I've always hated (big) dogs, that movie only proves my point.

High Tension...I'm not gonna rant because of spoilers, but basically the end pissed me off. Not since The Sixth Sense have I been this pissed off about an ending/"twist."

the best ending to a movie i saw recently belongs to " evenhand" ..on the Sundance channel tommorow, suggest you check out if you have comcast.

"Ghost world" is a good movie also

The Captain

Dude, one time back in Fremont (where I used to live) I was going out to dinner with my parents at this little restaurant and out in the back of a truck at the corner was this HUUUGE St. Bernard...I'm talking could swallow me whole huge, OK...and we were parked across from the building so we had to pass the truck and I was soooooooo fucking scared...obviously I wasn't swallowed whole though.

Anyway, yes, just the mention of M Night... or one of his movies pisses me off immediately, I swear.

Never heard of Evanhand, but I'll try to check it out.

Ghost World? if so, I agree, but I don't know why you mentioned it. :|
