i saw Spanglish today and enjoyed it a lot. it felt really different as in where the movie took me. sometimes it was a little hard to follow cause there was way too much emotion in it. i also thought the ending was too vague on how things ended up. i liked the whole restaurant sequence with Adam and Paz. yet it's pretty sad how they had to sacrifice their potential love for each other for the sake of their children. but if the movie ended with them being together, i would of disliked the movie.

man, i've done all my thinking for the rest of the weekend.

Watched House of Sand and Fog with my dad yesterday. He loves Sir Ben Kingsley waaay too much. I loved how the movie is so fucking patient. I know people have criticised it for being 'too slow' but man, I found it measured and intelligent. I think all the actors did a brilliant job and I really ought to watch more of Jennifer Connelly's movies. She's pretty good.

uh, yeah
Damn, Mariam, where have you been??

Watched House of D and The Warriors recently, both were really good.

I saw Jarhead this weekend, along with Brotherhood of the Wolf.

Jarhead made me all wet. God, Jake Gyllenhaal is beautiful. I wouldn't mind being in orgy with him, Sarsgaard and Brian Geraghty. Other than that, it was good.

Brotherhood of the Wolf was ok from what I saw. I stopped in the middle because I was starting to fall asleep. Not from boredom, but from fatigue. I'll have to finish it one of these days.

Saw High Tension. I liked it. Full of blood. Lesbians. French girls.

Saw Suicide Club again. I love this movie, but it's still really confusing. Someone help me out.
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

yeah yeah.

I agree. I thought it was amazing.

i had to watch prime last night

The Captain

Last night I watched Mindhunters. The review I read made it sound horrible and it came and went fast at the movies, but I thought it was pretty good.

Just a few minutes ago I finished Happenstance and it was good, charming, but I'd only suggest it to a patient romantic.

defskull

Quote from: "ChickdelaLynch"I saw The Crucible in English today. Wow, what an overdramatic piece of crap. My English teacher cried toward the end. Winona Ryder is an annoying whore. People can't act. Ick.

Give it up to Daniel Day-Lewis though. That man needs to be in more movies.

I'm watching Parenthood in my sociologly class.

Best thing about the movie? Keanu Reeves!

CentralIllNoise

Keanu Reeves is the worst actor alive (along with Tom Cruise)

black coffee

the new harry potter movie rocked.

not

Mazzy

I just watched Hotel Rwanda...yes, I cried. I bawled my eyes out. Luckily my dad didn't make fun of me like he usually does when I cry during a movie. I do have to say that I loved those funny moments in the movie, I don't want to refer to them as 'funny moments' actually. It makes me feel strange saying that. I guess it was more like their hope, which they expressed through humour. So much tragedy and just when you think it couldn't get worse, bang, something goes and happens that makes you cry even more.

Don Cheadle...fucking brilliant performance. He had me right there fighting and crying with him.

Tomorrow I watch Maria Full Of Grace.

Ma, I'm not sure how I feel about that. I want to see it but it seems like he JUST died, ya know. Plus I'm not really a fan of Joaquin, especially as Johnny Cash...blah
