i usually just get a few bottles of cheap wine. like

Sutter Homes Merlot.. which is an incredibly cheap wine. but the taste is incredibly rounded for being so cheap

And yes, I drink cheap wines too, cheap, but with good taste.

and actually I don't remember any of the brands, I usually memorise the way the label looks rather than remembering grape type, land where it comes from.. etc

Merlot is the only kind I will drink.  I really like Kendall Jackson,but when I cant get that,I'm fortunate to have a Winery right down the road from my house!

See if you have a local winery,you can test their wines .(which ends up getting you drunk enough to buy too many bottles).


But gawd does wine give me a horrible headache the next day!

somehow I actually have no bad hangover from wine.
Well, once I had amazingly bad hangover, but all the other times, well, maybe head is a little light, but overall I'm feeling great, considering the hangover I get from vodka etc etc

i have a winery that is about a 25 minute drive from my house.. but whenever i go there its closed. and according to their website. ive been going when they are open. so i dont know.

after explaining what i wanted. i was recommended [yellow tail] shiraz

its a new favorite now.
