I am actually still employed at the hospital I worked at before I joined the Navy.  They are keeping me employed for the length of my first enlistment so that I can have a job as soon as I get out.  And I loved working there in the ER.  But I wanted to be in the military.  Something I always wanted to do.  But I doubt I will go back to that same job.  As I have said over and over again on this board because ignorant people automatically assume that someone in the military have no options because they are such pussies that they can't imagine a person who would want to put themselves in such a hard, stressful, and dangerous job.  But as I have said, I started out as a EMT so getting my paramedic has always just been a personal goal of mine.  But I doubt that will be my end state.  I more than likely will get My RN or PA.  Having a hard time deciding.  But then again I just may stay in the military.  Because at the moment its a lot of fun.  Im almost positive I get better vacation than all of you.  And my benefits - retirement are once again probably better than all of yours.  Not a bad gig at all.  Plus I could go on with the education I want and become a medical officer.  Bank.  Anyways though if none of those I am also thinking about being a cop.  Have been for years.  Tried but I failed the background check for stupid decisions I was making when I was 16 that you are still making now.  But thats all clear now and I still may do that.  Who knows, point is that I have options.  and its not if I could get a job, its that I still have a job outside the military.

whats your plans?  going to try to hack into nunos paypall account so that you can steal SL funds?

you would make an excellent police officer.  funding the state with UCs and speeding tickets, while actually believing you're doing your civic duty by keepin those darn underagers away from alcohol and those horrible speeders off of the roads.

you told me about your job a while back man.  I cant remember everything about it.  You just started talking to me about it because I was intrigued that another board member was in Japan.  But then you talked about actually living in Hong Kong and all that good stuff.

Yes, I would be a good cop.  But I know what you mean about police work.  It can be pretty stupid at times.  I mean obviously all cops do is bust people speeding and underage drinking.  Fuck those other guys with guns and badges that go after rapist and murders or that show up to your house while you are getting robed or that try to find your stolen property after someone took it from you.  Fuck those cops who sit in high schools and do their best to keep all of the students safe from each other or other outside threats.  Fuck the cops who go into hostage situations and try to save the lives of a innocent person being held against their will.  Fuck them for busting ass holes cooking meth right next door to some little kids play ground.  Or even worse fuck them for busting the guys selling drugs to kids.  Fuck them for having a white collar crime department and busting Greedy rich ass people for embezzlement or whatever the fuck else dirty shit they do.  Fuck the guys who go in and try to take down violent street gangs who prey on innocent people.  Fuck them for taking down organized crime and child molesters and ass holes who steal old ladies purses.  And fuck them for being first responders to many violent acts or car crashes.  Yup, you're right man.  Cops are pretty stupid.  I mean I was almost positive that the #1 duty that cops provide for a community is property protection followed by personal protection.  But if you say speeding tickets and Underage drinking then you must be right ::)  grow the fuck up

i guess when you said cop, i figured you meant peace officer, the kind that doesn't do any of those things, the kind that works in the suburbs and gives out minors and speeding tickets because there is an unbelievable surplus of them, they're bored, and they have to pay their salary with tickets because there are too fucking many of them to be covered by tax dollars.  but i'm sure all those other ones are assholes too, hence you fitting right in.  :)

Those "suburbia peace officers" do a lot of what I listed up there.  They patrol so that they can respond to emergency.  And they patrol the same areas day after day so that they can get to know these areas and keep the people living in them safe.  its a community thing.  but too many idiots miss the point.  They hand out EVERYONE (not just kids) speeding tickets because wreckless driving can be very dangerous and takes a lot of life every year.  They pull over drunk drivers because it kills innocent people every day.  Yes, traffic violations matter.  Just because you may feel invincible or in control when you do these things does not change that people die from them every day.  And there are so many of them because there is so much crime.  So many fuckers like you that think they can do whatever they want regardless of who it hurts.  But I tell you what man.  Lets do an experiment k.  Do not ever speed, not even once.  And you tell me how many speeding tickets you get ok?  Seriously man.  You let me know the first time you get a speeding ticket for going the speed limit ( and in good driving conditions)  and I swear I will get the ACLU on the phone and head out to where you live and get their head for you.  Or you could just accept that YOU cause YOURSELF to get tickets because YOU made the choice to speed.  once again, grow up.

alvarezbassist17

eat my tits.  i feel insulted that you think i don't know and consider all of those things, i'm just saying there are way too many of them and while i guess bottom line if you break a law you should be getting a ticket for it, but it just chaps my behind because it just seems like they're out there looking for people to blame crimes on rather than waiting for them to happen at times.  and don't try to tell me they don't discriminate who they pull over, that's bullshit.  and you can't really give an adult a minor.

Variable

If they waited for the crimes to happen before they went out on patrol then how would they ever catch anyone in the act genius?  And of course they might be easier on adults than teen drivers.  Its only natural.  Adults are generally more responsible than teens and are more likely to have actually accidentally been speeding or are more likely to fix the mistake.  Use your head man.  I guess you might get it when you mature a few years.  How old are you anyways?

newcastle is very smooth for a dark beer, and doesnt give your stomach that heavy feeling

newcastle is also one of the very few beers that doesnt give me bad stomach acid.

but i agree, i dont know how people drink coors or miller or all that shit..

yeah its not my favorite but I like it.  I try to get other people into good beers.  But they are so used to that cheap taste that they just dont know how to appreciate the good stuff.  Thats how I was too though.  I used to drink all that nastyness then I started hanging out with some people who only drank really good beers and now I can never go back.  you just have to get used to the taste.

why?

i don't really discriminate on beers. if i'm broke, i go for coors light usually. if i happen to have money, then i usually go for the good shit. i love summer bcause sierra nevade outs out it's summerfest. belgian brewing company has a lot of good beers: fat tire, skinny dip, trippel, etc. blue moon is good too.
